All of these components are small enough that they can comfortably share the same machine (provided it meets Droplets system requirements), but the deployment is flexible and does not require this (provided the Droplets Server shares the same IP address with its associated Web server, HTTP Tunnel and Redirector). In fact, the IP addresses don't even have to be the same if you're not serving the Droplet as an applet.

In addition, most production deployments will include:

• A firewall
• A load balancer
• A database
• SNMP Monitoring Tool

All four of these components can be easily integrated with the Droplets Platform.
